The village is exerienced in hosting guests of all ages and frequently caters for school groups.

It's an ideal place to stay on the way to Misima. The people of Kebara can also arrange extended walking tours along and around the Kokoda Trail for visitors with a good level of fitness.

Kebara offers a registered cultural dancing group performance for K500. Advance booking is essential. [Why?]

Cost

There is an all-inclusive‡ charge of K100 per person per night which includes shelter, food, porter, walks, activities, etc.

‡Not included is traditional dancing, which costs K500 per performance (shared amongst the audience).

*On some maps it's called 'Kepara', but the local spelling is 'Kebara'. It sounds the same either way.
